This oil on canvas original painting was created upon my exiting from a beloved koi pond.  This cool oasis is what greeted me with my coffee on spring and summer mornings. Water has a mesmerizing and magical quality that teemed with beautiful orange koi, greenery, and sparkling sunshine is a jewel to behold. Luminous oil colors speak this abstracted vision of coolness and splash.

Kio Pondage, Let My Purple Go

At first I was looking at this from the perspective of realism, and I was confused by what I saw. But as soon as I tuned into it being (at least partly) abstract, I realized how absolutely wonderful the colors were! My eye has so much fun travelling around all the bits and pieces.

    The color is very exciting.
