    Description

This is a scratch-board and ink rendering of a young giraffe that I saw at the San Diego Zoo.  I like to try and capture the essence of youth and innocence in young animals.

It takes patience and many hours to use Xacto blades and tattoo needles to draw and scratch out the black ink on the background. Then apply colored inks and re-scratch again.
