    Description

Composer Halide Smith wrote music and asked if I would paint to her composition. I did so in an outdoor  garden surrounded by native Florida plants and a pond. People visited, conversation flowed and by the end of the afternoon, "Buoyancy" was completed. I hope people enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed painting it. It is called "Buoyancy" because the music in the composition was influenced  by several cultures in which Halide once lived but what connected the music together was the buoyancy  of all the musical notes.
