    There is something quaint and so special about a little house on the country hillside that has not seen a footprint in years yet seems to radiate love and warmth. Growing up in Colorado, I would see many of these little cottages set among beautiful grasses and crisp, fall colors. 

    This oil painting was done with brush and palette knife, displaying many textural peaks and ridges to aid to the feel of overgrown bushes and weathered wood.
